Door left open too long, High internal temperature detected, Faulty door switch, Failing temperature sensor causing false alarm
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- Check door: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing all around. Remove any items blocking closure.
- Silence alarm: Use the alarm mute button if available, but do not ignore persistent alarms.
- Verify temperature: Place a freezer thermometer inside and check after several hours. If temperature is above -15°C, investigate cooling performance.
- Door switch and sensor: If the alarm sounds even with proper temperature and closed door, test the door switch and temperature sensor as described in E1 and E9.
Safety: Unplug the unit before testing or replacing electrical components.
