• Level cabinet: Adjust leveling feet so the freezer tilts slightly backward, helping the door close by gravity.
• Inspect hinges: Tighten loose hinge screws. Replace bent hinges if the door is misaligned.
• Gasket condition: Replace the gasket if it is deformed or cracked. Warm the new gasket with a hair dryer (on low) to help it conform to the cabinet.
• Internal obstructions: Rearrange contents so nothing presses against the door from inside.
