Possible Causes
Low or unstable mains voltage, Internal power supply fault on main control board, Blown internal fuse on PCB, Damaged surge protection components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the freezer from mains before opening any electrical enclosures.
- 1. Verify mains supply: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to confirm stable power. Avoid using long extension cords or multi-way adapters.
- 2. Try a different outlet: If possible, connect the freezer directly to a known-good wall socket.
- 3. Inspect power cord and plug: Check for cuts, burns, or loose pins. Replace the power cord if damaged.
- 4. Access main control board: Remove the top or rear control cover to expose the PCB. Look for a small fuse on the board and check continuity (with power disconnected).
- 5. Visual inspection: Examine the PCB for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or cracked solder joints around the power input section.
- 6. Replace board if necessary: If the internal fuse is blown and there is visible damage, the main control board should be replaced with a Siemens-compatible module. Transferring configuration jumpers or EEPROM may be required on some models.
- 7. Reassemble and test: After replacing the board, restore power and confirm that E10 is cleared and cooling resumes.
Note: If your household supply is known to be unstable, consider using a dedicated circuit or consulting an electrician.
