Possible Causes
Burnt-out LED module or lamp, Faulty door switch not sending light signal, Loose light connector, Failed light driver circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing lamps or accessing wiring.
- 1. Check door switch: Verify that the door switch operates (you may hear a click or see other functions respond). If the switch is faulty, replace it first.
- 2. Access light module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer (usually clipped or screwed). Inspect the LED module or bulb.
- 3. Replace lamp/module: Install a Siemens-compatible LED light module or bulb of the correct type and rating.
- 4. Check wiring: Ensure the light connector is firmly seated and wires are not damaged.
- 5. Test: Restore power and open the door to confirm the light operates.
Note: If a new light and switch do not restore operation, the main control board's light output may be faulty and require replacement.
