Possible Causes
Freezer not level on floor, Loose compressor mounting, Hard contact between cabinet and surrounding furniture, Uneven load or items touching interior walls
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Take care when tilting or moving the freezer to avoid injury.
- 1. Level the appliance: Use a spirit level and adjust the front leveling feet until the freezer is stable and does not rock.
- 2. Check rear supports: Ensure rear rollers or feet are firmly on the floor and not on an uneven surface.
- 3. Reposition appliance: Leave a small gap between the freezer and adjacent cabinets or walls to prevent direct vibration transfer.
- 4. Secure compressor: With power off, inspect compressor mounting grommets and brackets. Replace worn grommets if the compressor moves excessively.
- 5. Rearrange contents: Ensure baskets and packages are not pressing hard against the interior walls, which can transmit vibration.
Note: Some vibration is normal, but it should not cause rattling furniture or loud noise.
