Freezer interior light not working, but cooling is normal.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.

• 1. Check door switch: Press the door switch manually and see if the light flickers or comes on. If not, test or replace the door switch.
• 2. Inspect light module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer. Look for discoloration or burn marks on the LED module or bulb.
• 3. Replace light source: Install the correct SMEG LED module or bulb specified for your model. Do not substitute with non-rated parts.
• 4. Check wiring: Ensure the light connector is firmly seated and wires are intact.
• 5. Control board: If the switch and light module are good but no voltage is supplied, the light driver on the main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
