Freezer door is hard to open immediately after closing; a vacuum seems to hold it shut.

What you can do:

• Wait a moment: Allow 30–60 seconds after closing before reopening to let pressure equalize.
• Check gasket: Ensure the gasket is clean and not sticking excessively. Wipe with warm soapy water and dry.
• Level the unit: Make sure the freezer is level so the door seals evenly without excessive force.

Note: If the door remains extremely difficult to open for several minutes or the gasket deforms, inspect for gasket misalignment or cabinet warping and correct as needed.
