Possible Causes
Burned-out LED or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light wiring connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.
Steps to restore interior lighting:
- Check door switch: Press the door switch by hand with the door open. If the light flickers or comes on intermittently, the switch may be faulty. Test and replace as described in the E7 scenario.
- Replace bulb or LED module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer (usually snaps off or is held by screws). Replace the bulb with the same type and wattage, or replace the LED module with a Summit-compatible part.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the light socket or LED module wiring is firmly connected and not damaged.
- Restore power and test: Plug the freezer back in and open the door to confirm the light operates correctly.
