Door Vacuum / Pressure Equalization Issue
Freezer door is difficult to open again immediately after closing; feels like it is stuck by suction.

Possible Causes
Normal pressure equalization after door closure, Blocked cabinet pressure equalization vent, Very tight new door gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No electrical work is required.
- Understand normal behavior: A temporary vacuum after closing is common as warm air cools and contracts. Wait 30–60 seconds before reopening.
- Check venting: Some models have a small pressure equalization vent; ensure it is not blocked by packaging or ice.
- Gasket break-in: For new gaskets, repeated normal use will usually reduce excessive suction over time.
Test: Observe whether the difficulty reduces after a short wait; if so, this is normal and not a fault.
