Control panel buttons on the Toshiba freezer do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Lock function: Check if a child lock or control lock feature is enabled and disable it according to the user manual.
• 2. Inspect panel: Remove the control panel bezel and check the keypad PCB and ribbon cable for secure connections and signs of moisture.
• 3. Dry and clean: If moisture is present, dry the area thoroughly and allow several hours before retesting.
• 4. Replace keypad/display PCB: If specific buttons never respond or the panel is physically damaged, replace the display/keypad assembly with a Toshiba-compatible part.
