Possible Causes
Freezer not level, Loose leveling feet, Compressor vibration transmitted to floor, Items vibrating on top of freezer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Have another person assist when tilting or moving the freezer to avoid tipping.
Steps:
- 1. Check leveling: Place a spirit level on top of the freezer. Adjust the front leveling feet until the unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- 2. Stabilize feet: Ensure all feet are firmly contacting the floor. Use shims if the floor is uneven.
- 3. Clear contact points: Make sure the freezer is not touching the wall or cabinets. Leave a small gap to prevent rattling.
- 4. Remove items from top: Take off any objects placed on top of the freezer that may vibrate.
- 5. Internal components: If vibration persists, check compressor mounts and condenser brackets at the rear and tighten as needed.
