Safety: Check food temperature promptly to avoid spoilage.
Steps:
- Silence alarm: Press the alarm reset or set button according to the user manual to silence the buzzer.
- Check door: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing all around. Look for warped door or items blocking closure.
- Door switch test: Press the door switch by hand; the interior light should turn off. If not, the door switch may be faulty.
- Verify temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm actual temperature. If normal, suspect a sensor or control issue.
- Sensor and board: Test the cabinet temperature sensor and replace if out of range. If the sensor is good, the main control board may be misinterpreting readings.
