Water pooling at the bottom of the freezer or on the floor in front of the unit.

Possible Causes
Blocked defrost drain hole, Frozen drain tube, Cracked internal liner allowing water behind panels, Door gasket leaking warm air causing excess frost melt
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing internal panels or using hot water.
- Locate drain: On frost-free Zanussi freezers, a small defrost drain hole is usually located beneath the evaporator behind the internal rear panel.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible plastic rod to gently clear debris from the drain hole. Do not use metal objects that can puncture the liner.
- Flush with warm water: Using a turkey baster or syringe, flush warm (not boiling) water through the drain until it flows freely into the drain pan above the compressor.
- Check drain tube: From the rear, inspect the drain tube leading to the drip tray. Ensure it is not kinked or frozen.
- Inspect door seal: A poor seal can cause excessive frost and meltwater. Replace the door gasket if necessary.
