Possible Causes
Shorted accessory wiring, Blown low-voltage fuse on Alpha control board, Defective accessory relay on board, Incorrect accessory wiring to HUM or DEH terminals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before working on low-voltage accessory wiring.
- Inspect fuse: Check the low-voltage fuse on the control board and replace if blown, after correcting any wiring shorts.
- Verify wiring: Confirm humidifier or dehumidifier wires are connected to the correct HUM/DEH terminals and not shorted to ground or each other.
- Isolate accessory: Temporarily disconnect accessory wires and clear the error. If E19 clears, the accessory device may be faulty.
If E19 persists with accessories disconnected, the control board accessory circuit may need replacement.
