Possible Causes
Loose blower wheel set screw, Debris caught in blower wheel, Blower housing not secured to Alpha cabinet, Unbalanced blower motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before touching the blower assembly.
- Inspect blower mounting: Remove the blower compartment panel and verify that all mounting screws and brackets securing the blower housing are tight.
- Check blower wheel: Look for foreign objects inside the wheel. Ensure the set screw on the motor shaft is tight and the wheel is centered in the housing.
- Test run: Restore power and run the blower in FAN mode to see if vibration is reduced.
If vibration persists, the blower wheel may be bent or the motor shaft may be out of balance, requiring replacement.
