Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse, Faulty external isolation switch, Loose mains terminal block inside furnace, Internal fuse on control board blown
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not work on live circuits unless you are qualified. Always isolate power before opening the appliance.
- Check the consumer unit (breaker panel) for a tripped breaker or blown fuse feeding the furnace circuit. Reset or replace only once; if it trips again, call an electrician.
- Verify that the local furnace isolator switch is in the ON position.
- Remove the front panel and inspect the mains terminal block for loose wires or signs of overheating.
- Some ATAG units have an internal fuse on the PCB; if blown, it usually indicates another fault and should be replaced only by a technician after diagnosis.
