Possible Causes
Low line voltage, Loose power connections, Shared circuit with heavy loads, Defective power supply section on Atlantic control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before tightening any electrical connections.
Steps:
- Check breaker and wiring: Ensure the furnace is on a dedicated circuit as recommended by Atlantic. Tighten lugs at the breaker and furnace disconnect (qualified person).
- Measure voltage: Have a technician measure line voltage at the furnace during operation. It should remain within the specified range.
- Reduce shared loads: If other large appliances share the circuit, move them to separate circuits.
- Inspect control board: Look for burnt components or discoloration in the power supply area of the PCB. Replace the board if damaged.
Note: Persistent low voltage should be addressed by an electrician or utility provider.
