Possible Causes
Blocked fan wheel, Worn fan motor bearings, Faulty fan motor thermal protector, Restricted air circulation around furnace
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before opening the blower or flue fan compartments.
- Check ventilation: Ensure the furnace room has adequate ventilation openings as specified by Beretta. Remove stored items blocking air inlets around the unit.
- Inspect circulation fan: Remove the blower access panel. Check for dust buildup on the fan wheel and motor. Clean with a brush and vacuum. Spin the wheel by hand; if it is stiff or noisy, the motor bearings may be failing.
- Inspect flue fan (if A07 refers to flue fan on your model): Access the flue fan and check for debris or corrosion on the impeller. Clean carefully and ensure it spins freely.
- Allow cooling and reset: After cleaning, allow the unit to cool fully, then restore power and test. If A07 recurs quickly, the fan motor or its thermal protector likely needs replacement.
