Possible Causes

Open or shorted flow NTC sensor, Loose sensor wiring, Sensor not properly inserted in flow pipe pocket, Faulty control board input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate power before accessing sensors on the hydraulic group.

  • Locate flow sensor: On Beretta furnaces with hydronic circuits, the flow NTC is usually clipped or inserted into a pocket on the flow pipe leaving the heat exchanger.
  • Check connection: Ensure the NTC sensor plug is fully seated on the control board and that the cable is not damaged.
  • Inspect sensor placement: Confirm the sensor is fully inserted into the pipe pocket and secured with its clip, ensuring good thermal contact.

If A13 remains, the NTC sensor is likely faulty and should be replaced with a Beretta-approved part.
