Possible Causes

Stuck or blocked flow switch, Air lock in circulation pump, Faulty circulation pump, Dirty system water restricting flow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate power. Allow system to cool before opening any water components.

  • Check circulation pump: Listen for the pump running when there is a heat demand. If silent, the pump may be seized or not powered.
  • Bleed pump: Some Beretta pumps have a bleed screw on the front. Place a cloth underneath, loosen the screw slightly to release air until water appears, then retighten.
  • Inspect flow switch: Locate the flow switch on the hydraulic group. Check for debris in the housing if accessible and ensure the wiring is intact.

Persistent A17 faults require a technician to test pump performance and possibly flush the system.
