Possible Causes

Fan motor failure, Loose fan connector, Faulty control board fan relay, Jammed fan wheel

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before touching the fan or control board.

  • 1. Visual inspection: Remove the front cover and locate the Brötje fan. Check the wiring harness and plug for secure connection and signs of overheating.
  • 2. Check for mechanical blockage: Try to rotate the fan wheel gently by hand (with power off). It should spin freely. If stiff or blocked by debris, clean or replace the fan.
  • 3. Electrical test: A technician should measure voltage at the fan terminals during a start command. If voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the fan. If no voltage, suspect the control board or safety interlocks.
  • 4. Control board inspection: Inspect the PCB for burnt tracks or damaged fan relay. Replacement of the main control board should be done only by authorised service.
