Possible Causes
Failed DHW NTC sensor, Loose sensor in cylinder pocket or plate heat exchanger, Broken sensor cable, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power and water supply if opening DHW components.
- 1. Locate DHW sensor: On combi Brötje boilers, the DHW NTC is usually mounted on the plate heat exchanger. On system boilers with cylinder, it may be in a sensor pocket on the cylinder.
- 2. Check seating: Ensure the sensor is fully inserted into the pocket or firmly attached to the heat exchanger surface with thermal paste if specified.
- 3. Inspect wiring and connector: Look for damage or loose plugs at the PCB.
- 4. Test sensor: Measure resistance and compare with Brötje DHW NTC specifications. Replace if faulty.
