A15
Brötje
Condensate drainage fault
Boiler shows A15, condensate fault, unit shuts down

Possible Causes
Blocked condensate trap, Frozen condensate pipe, Incorrect condensate pipe slope, Faulty condensate level sensor (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off power. Condensate is mildly acidic; wear gloves and eye protection.
- 1. Inspect condensate pipe: Check the plastic condensate discharge from the Brötje boiler to the drain. Ensure it is not frozen, kinked, or blocked.
- 2. Clean condensate trap: Remove the trap under the boiler, empty it, and rinse with clean water. Remove any sludge or debris.
- 3. Check slope: Ensure the pipe runs continuously downhill to the drain with no upward loops that can trap water.
- 4. Level sensor: If your model has a condensate level sensor, inspect and clean it. Replace if corroded or not switching.
