Possible Causes

Defective Buderus pressure transducer, Blocked sensor port, Wiring fault between sensor and control, Air pocket at sensor location

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power. Do not overfill the system trying to clear a sensor error.

Steps:

  • Compare gauge and display: If your Buderus unit has a mechanical gauge, compare its reading to the digital pressure on the display. A large discrepancy suggests a bad sensor.
  • Inspect sensor and tubing: Locate the pressure sensor on the hydraulic block or manifold. Check for kinks, sludge, or blockage in the small port or tube feeding the sensor.
  • Bleed air: Air trapped at the sensor can cause false readings. Bleed nearby air vents and gently tap the sensor body.
  • Check connector: Reseat the sensor plug on the control board.

If H2 remains, the pressure sensor should be replaced with an OEM Buderus part by a technician.
