Safety: Turn off power. Condensate is mildly acidic; wear gloves and eye protection.

Steps:

Locate condensate trap: On Buderus condensing furnaces, the trap is usually a plastic assembly at the bottom of the heat exchanger or flue collector.
Clean trap: Remove the trap per the manual. Flush it with clean water to remove sludge and debris. Reassemble carefully, ensuring all seals are tight.
Check hoses: Inspect condensate hoses for kinks, sags, or blockages. Clear any obstructions and ensure proper slope to the drain.
Verify drain outlet: Make sure the drain line is not frozen or blocked where it discharges.

If P2 persists, the condensate level sensor or float switch may be faulty and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
