Furnace does not start at all, no lights or display, completely dead.

• Check external power: Verify that the wall switch or fused spur supplying the Chaffoteaux furnace is turned on. Replace the fuse with one of the correct rating if blown.
• Check consumer unit: Ensure the circuit breaker feeding the furnace has not tripped. Reset if necessary.
• Inspect power cable: Look for visible damage to the power cable or plug (if fitted). Do not use the appliance if the cable is damaged.
• Internal terminal block: With power isolated, a professional can remove the front cover and check that the live, neutral, and earth wires are securely clamped in the internal terminal block and that the main switch operates correctly.
