Possible Causes
Loose blower housing, Loose panel screws, Unbalanced blower wheel, Inducer motor vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before tightening or adjusting components.
Steps:
- Tighten panels: Ensure all Concord furnace access panels are properly seated and screws are tight. Add missing screws if necessary.
- Check blower housing: Inspect the blower assembly mounting bolts and brackets. Tighten any loose fasteners.
- Inspect blower wheel: Look for debris in the blower wheel or signs of wobble. If the wheel is bent or out of balance, it should be replaced.
- Inducer noise: If noise is from the inducer area, check mounting screws and gasket. A failing inducer bearing will require inducer replacement.
