Possible Causes

Blown low-voltage fuse on Daikin control board, Open door interlock switch, Tripped rollout or high-limit switch, Broken 24V transformer on furnace

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power to the furnace before removing panels. Do not bypass safety switches.

Steps to check:

  • Door switch: Ensure the blower door is fully closed and depressing the door safety switch. Some Daikin furnaces will not power the board if the door is ajar.
  • Board fuse: Locate the 3–5A automotive-style fuse on the Daikin control board. If blown, replace with the same rating only. If it blows again, there is a short in the 24V circuit that needs professional diagnosis.
  • Transformer output: With power on (qualified persons only), measure 24VAC between R and C at the board. If there is no 24V, the transformer may be failed and should be replaced by a technician.
  • Safety switches: Check visible rollout and high-limit switches for manual reset buttons. If tripped, press to reset once. If they trip again, stop and call a technician—this indicates overheating or flame rollout.
