Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Critical safety: If you smell gas, do not operate the boiler. Ventilate the area, do not use electrical switches, and contact the gas emergency service.
User checks:
- Gas cock position: Ensure the gas isolation valve near the boiler is fully open (handle parallel to the pipe).
- Other appliances: Check if other gas appliances work. If none work, contact your gas supplier.
- Reset once: After confirming gas supply, reset the boiler once. Do not repeatedly reset if E05 returns.
Professional help: Gas valve testing, purging air from the line, and pressure checks must be done by a qualified gas technician.
