How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power. Water may be hot; have towels ready.
- Check pump housing: Touch the pump body carefully; if extremely hot and silent, it may be seized.
- Vent pump: If the pump has a vent screw, place a cloth underneath and slowly open it to release air until water flows steadily. Retighten.
- Free rotor: With power off, remove the pump head (if design allows) and gently turn the rotor with a screwdriver to free it.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the pump connector is secure and not burned.
- Reset and test: Restore power and call for heat. If the pump still does not run or the error returns, replacement is likely required.
