Condensate Drain Fault
Furnace shows 14, burner stops, may be associated with condensate issues

Possible Causes
Blocked condensate trap or drain hose, Frozen condensate pipe, Incorrect condensate pipe slope
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Condensate is mildly acidic. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect condensate pipe: Follow the plastic condensate pipe from the boiler to the drain. Check for kinks, sags, or external blockages.
- 2. Check for freezing: In cold weather, external sections can freeze. Thaw gently with warm (not boiling) water and insulate the pipe.
- 3. Clean condensate trap: Place a container under the trap, remove it carefully, and flush with clean water. Remove any sludge or debris. Refit securely and check for leaks.
- 4. Verify slope: Ensure the pipe slopes continuously downward to the drain to avoid standing water.
