Possible Causes
Scaled plate heat exchanger, Partially blocked DHW flow sensor, Incorrect DHW temperature setting, Faulty DHW NTC sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power and close cold water inlet before removing DHW components.
Steps:
- Check DHW setpoint: On the Intergas control panel, verify that the DHW temperature is set appropriately (e.g. 50–60°C).
- Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the cold water inlet filter to ensure adequate flow.
- Descale plate heat exchanger (technician): Isolate and remove the DHW plate heat exchanger. Flush with a suitable descaling solution to remove limescale.
- Inspect DHW NTC: Check the DHW temperature sensor for secure mounting and replace if readings are erratic.
