Possible Causes
Blocked circulation, Stuck closed system valves, Failed circulation pump, Incorrect pump speed setting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and allow the unit to cool. Hot water and surfaces can cause burns.
- Verify all valves are open: Ensure isolation valves on the flow and return pipes near the Kospel furnace are fully open.
- Check circulation pump operation: With a heat demand, listen for the pump running. Some pumps have a manual speed selector; ensure it is not set too low for the system.
- Bleed air from pump: If the pump has a bleed screw, carefully open it slightly (with a cloth ready) to release trapped air until water appears.
- Reset furnace: After restoring circulation, reset the furnace according to the manual.
If E11 recurs, the pump or control board may be defective. Contact a Kospel service technician.
