Possible Causes
Loose communication cable, Damaged display panel, Faulty main control PCB, Incorrect wiring after service
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the front panel or accessing electronics.
- Check low-voltage harness: Inspect the cable between the main control board and the front display/keyboard module. Ensure both ends are fully seated and not damaged.
- Look for moisture: Check for signs of condensation or water ingress on the control board and display. Dry gently if minor moisture is present; if boards are wet, they may need replacement.
- Power cycle: Restore power and perform a full power cycle (off for 30 seconds, then on) to reset communication.
If E14 persists, either the display module or main PCB is likely defective and should be replaced by a Kospel service technician.
