Possible Causes

Short or open circuit in gas valve coil, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty gas valve, Defective gas valve driver on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off gas and power before inspecting the gas valve. Only qualified personnel should replace gas components.

  • Inspect wiring: Check the connector at the gas valve for secure fit and no signs of burning or corrosion. Follow the harness back to the PCB for damage.
  • Check for visible damage: Look for cracks or burn marks on the gas valve body.
  • Reset and test: After reseating connectors, restore power and attempt a restart.

If E15 remains, the gas valve or control board must be tested and replaced by an authorized Kospel technician using proper electrical and gas pressure tests.
