Possible Causes

Tripped breaker, Blown internal fuse, Faulty service switch, Loose line voltage connection

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off the breaker before removing any electrical covers.

Steps to check:

  • Breaker panel: Locate the furnace breaker and reset it fully OFF then ON.
  • Service switch: Ensure the furnace disconnect switch (often on or near the Luxaire furnace) is in the ON position.
  • Door switch: Confirm the blower door is properly installed and depressing the door safety switch.
  • Internal fuse: If comfortable, remove the blower door and inspect the control board fuse. Replace only with same rating if blown, and watch for recurrence.

If power is present but the furnace remains dead, contact a technician to test the transformer and control board.
