Possible Causes
Dirty burners preventing proper ignition, Weak ignitor, Low gas pressure, Faulty gas valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off gas and power. Work in a well-ventilated area and avoid open flames.
- Clean burners: Remove the burner assembly and clean each burner with a brush and compressed air. Ensure crossover ports between burners are clear.
- Inspect ignitor: Check for cracks or white spots. Replace if suspect.
- Check gas supply: Confirm gas shutoff valves are open and other gas appliances operate normally. If you suspect low pressure, contact your gas provider or a licensed technician.
- Test gas valve: During ignition, verify 24V at the gas valve. If voltage is present but no gas flow, replace the gas valve.
