Seized brine pump, air in brine circuit, blocked brine filter, failed pump electronics
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power and close brine valves before opening any pump or filter. Wear gloves and eye protection.
- Check pump operation: With power on and a heat demand present, feel the brine pump for vibration. If none, check its power supply and fuses.
- Bleed air: Use the bleed points on the brine circuit to remove trapped air. Follow Nibe's brine handling instructions.
- Clean brine filter: Shut valves, remove the filter cap, clean the strainer, and refit. Open valves and bleed again.
- Reset alarm: Restore power and clear the B2 alarm. If the pump still does not run, it likely needs replacement.
