Possible Causes
3‑way valve stuck in heating position, DHW temperature set too low, cylinder sensor mispositioned, scaled cylinder coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Beware of hot surfaces and scalding water.
- Check DHW settings: In the Nibe menu, verify that hot water mode is enabled and the setpoint is appropriate (e.g., 50–55°C).
- Observe 3‑way valve: When hot water is requested, confirm that the 3‑way valve actuator moves to the DHW position.
- Check cylinder sensor: Ensure the sensor is fully inserted into the cylinder pocket and properly insulated.
- Descale cylinder: In hard water areas, the coil may be scaled, reducing transfer. A technician should descale or flush the cylinder coil.
