Possible Causes

Defective return NTC sensor, Damaged sensor cable, Poor thermal contact between sensor and pipe, Faulty PCB sensor circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and allow the system to cool before touching pipework or sensors.

User action: Limited. You can attempt a reset after a full power cycle, but persistent E07 requires a technician.

Technician checks:

  • Locate the return NTC sensor on the return pipe to the heat exchanger.
  • Inspect the clip or pocket holding the sensor; ensure it is firmly attached and has good contact.
  • Measure sensor resistance and compare with manufacturer data at ambient and operating temperatures.
  • Check wiring continuity back to the main PCB and inspect for signs of moisture ingress.

Replace the return NTC if readings are incorrect or intermittent.
