How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power. Water inside the casing can damage electronics and create shock risk. If leak is significant, also isolate the water supply.
User checks:
- Place a tray or towel under the unit to contain water.
- Do not remove the combustion cover; simply observe from below if safe.
Technician checks:
- Remove the front cover and inspect all joints, pump, and valves for signs of leakage.
- Check the primary heat exchanger for corrosion or pinhole leaks.
- Inspect the automatic air vent and condensate trap for drips.
- Repair or replace the leaking component and dry the PCB area thoroughly.
