Possible Causes

Loose harness between main PCB and display board, Defective user interface board, Defective main control PCB, Low supply voltage to electronics

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the furnace using the main power switch and isolate it from the mains supply. Wait at least 5 minutes before removing any covers. Only qualified persons should access internal components.

  • Check supply voltage: Verify that the furnace is receiving the correct mains voltage (typically 230 V AC in EU). If voltage is low or unstable, contact an electrician.
  • Inspect display cable: Remove the front panel and locate the low-voltage harness between the user interface (display) and the main control PCB. Ensure the plug is fully seated on both ends and that no pins are bent or corroded.
  • Check for damage: Look for pinched, cut, or burned wires in the harness. If damaged, replace the harness.
  • Power cycle: Restore power, then turn the furnace off and on using the main switch to see if the error clears.
  • Board replacement: If the harness is intact and voltage is correct but E0 persists, the fault is likely in the user interface board or main control PCB. Replacement should be done by a certified Remeha technician.
