Possible Causes
Shorted photocell, Damaged photocell wiring, Moisture in sensor connector, Control box flame amplifier failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before handling the sensor or wiring.
Steps:
- Inspect sensor and cable: Remove the Riello photocell. Check for cracks, burn marks, or oil contamination. Inspect the cable for cuts or crushed sections.
- Dry connectors: If moisture is present, dry the connector and surrounding area thoroughly. Correct any water leak sources.
- Replace photocell: Install a new Riello OEM photocell if there is any doubt about the old one.
If A15 persists with a new sensor and good wiring, the control box is likely defective.
