How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and close the oil valve. Ventilate the area. Do not smoke or use open flames.
Steps:
- Inspect for leaks: Wipe around the Riello pump, filter, and oil lines. Tighten fittings gently if seepage is found. Replace damaged flexible lines.
- Check bleed screw: Ensure the pump bleed screw is fully tightened after bleeding.
- Check combustion: Look for visible smoke at the flue. If present, shut down and schedule a combustion tune-up.
