How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before opening the furnace cabinet.
Steps:
- Verify thermostat: Set thermostat to heat and raise setpoint. Confirm 24V (or control signal) is reaching the furnace control.
- Check fuses: Inspect any inline fuses or board-mounted fuses and replace only with identical ratings.
- Inspect safety switches: Reset any manual rollout or high limit switches. If they trip again, stop and call a technician.
- Check burner plug: Ensure the Riello burner plug is fully seated in the control socket and wiring is intact.
