Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and gas. Risk of carbon monoxide – ensure the area is well ventilated and do not operate the furnace until the fault is resolved.
- Inspect flue terminal: From outside, check that the flue outlet is not blocked by debris, snow, nests, or vegetation. Clear any obstructions.
- Check flue joints: Visually inspect accessible flue sections for disconnections, sagging, or signs of condensation leakage.
- Examine flue sensor: Locate the flue gas temperature sensor on the flue collector or outlet. Ensure it is firmly mounted and the wiring is intact.
- Reset and test: After clearing obvious issues, restore power and gas, reset the furnace, and observe operation. If E07 returns, a professional flue gas analysis and inspection are required.
Warning: Flue gas problems are life-safety issues. If you smell exhaust or feel unwell, shut down the furnace and contact a qualified Roca technician immediately.
