Possible Causes
Anti-cycling time set too long, Faulty thermostat contacts, Control board misinterpreting demand, Overheat stat not resetting quickly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure safe access to the control panel and wiring.
- Check thermostat: Verify that the thermostat is still calling for heat when you expect the furnace to run. Replace if contacts are intermittent.
- Review control settings: In the installer menu, check the anti-cycling or minimum off-time settings and adjust to reasonable values per Roca guidelines.
- Observe overheat behavior: If the furnace is overheating and waiting for the high-limit to reset, address circulation and scaling issues.
- Power cycle: If the unit only restarts after a full power cycle, the PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
Warning: Do not disable safety delays; they protect the system from rapid cycling damage.
