Furnace control panel buttons are unresponsive or require very hard presses.

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Clean panel surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth; do not allow liquid to enter the panel.
• 2. Inspect cable: Check the keypad ribbon cable for cracks or loose connections. Reseat at the control board.
• 3. Replace keypad: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the US Stove keypad or user interface assembly.
