How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power and gas. Do not operate the boiler with a known fan fault.
Checks:
- Listen for the fan at startup; absence of sound suggests it is not running.
- Inspect the flue terminal for obstructions that could overload the fan.
- Access the fan (qualified personnel) and check for debris or seized bearings; the impeller should spin freely by hand with power off.
- Check the fan connector and wiring harness for secure connection and damage.
Repair: Replace the fan assembly if it is noisy, seized, or electrically open/shorted. PCB fan control faults require board replacement by a professional.
