Safety: Turn off power before tightening mounts or touching moving parts.

Check mounts: Inspect the burner mounting flange and pump brackets. Tighten loose bolts and add vibration‑damping washers if needed.
Bleed pump: Some pumps have a bleed screw. With power off and a cloth ready, open the screw slightly to release air, then close and restart.
Fan inspection: A technician should inspect the burner fan wheel for damage or buildup causing imbalance and replace if necessary.
Pump replacement: If the pump is noisy and rough when spinning, its bearings may be worn and the pump should be replaced.

Furnace and nearby pipework vibrate excessively, with humming or droning noise during operation.
